Robert T. Hill Middle School staff and students recognized their Board of Trustee, Dan Micciche, at an activity in the school library on Friday, Jan. 29.

Students delivered speeches on the qualities of a leader and how Micciche exemplified those qualities. Two students from the Theatre Acts Class gave monologues representing Micciche’ s past and future. Students also described how the programs at Hill were preparing them to be the great leaders of tomorrow.

Everyone at the event thanked Micciche for supporting literacy, spearheading a policy change making daily recess mandatory at all elementary schools, and for promoting programs for the academic success of all students.

Micciche and the audience were entertained by a performance on the piano by Mr. Joseph Scott. A reception followed where Micciche had the opportunity to share experiences with student leaders within the school such as Student Council, Avid, STEM and library leaders.
