New classrooms

Proceeds from the proposed bond are anticipated to create four new preK classrooms at Barbara Jordan Elementary School. Proceeds from the bond are also anticipated to finance cafeteria enhancements at the school

New educational programs

Proceeds from the proposed bond are anticipated to expand the career and technology education (CTE) program at David W. Carter High School.

Examples of CTE programs are

  • Culinary arts
  • Information technology
