On Saturday, Sept. 26, alumni celebrated Sunset High School’s 90th anniversary with a commemorative program, refreshments, and plenty of conversations remembering how the high school was way back when.
The ceremony also celebrated the school’s historic designation from the City of Dallas and State of Texas.
“No matter if you were a class in the ‘40s, a class in the ‘60s, like me, or the kids today, we just have a bond that makes us family,” said Carol Brown, who graduated Sunset in ’67. “I’m glad to come back to Sunset and see that bond still exists.”
