The Dallas Museum of Art and the Dallas Arts District will host the superhero-themed Teen Takeover of Late Night’s at the DMA and the Summer Block Party tomorrow night.

The festivities will take place from 6 p.m.–midnight. Families and members of the community are invited to have some fun and learn a thing or two in the public art museum.

The Townview Pep Band will kick off the fun with a processional performance down the museum’s concourse. The performance will end in the Atrium, where many of the event’s live performances will take place, including a live disc jockey and rhythm and blues band.

Be sure to stop by the museum’s galleries at 7 p.m. for “Translating Culture…Community Voices at the DMA Part II,” a special presentation by Skyline High School’s Architecture cluster. The students, “who created a series of smartphone tour stops,” will discuss and showcase how they created the “self-guided tour map” that is available in both English and Spanish. The maps indicate where students are stationed near featured artworks.

In addition, catch a free outdoor viewing of Batman (1989) in the Ross Avenue Plaza and 2012’s The Avengers inside at the Horchow Auditorium. The event will feature other interactive exhibits that allow patrons to create their own art, book readings, scavenger hunts, yoga, food and music.
