A Dallas ISD volunteer for 25 years, Marian Joiner has served all over the district and is currently offering her services at T. G. Terry Elementary, which is where her great-granddaughter attends.
Joiner has previously volunteered at William Brown Miller Elementary, John Neely Bryan Elementary, John Henry Brown Learning Center, and Lincoln High School. She said the joy she sees in the students as they great her with big hugs is what makes volunteering worthwhile.
