KTVT: Non-magnet student accepted to Harvard

Quentin Neroes, a senior at Emmett J. Conrad High School, is smiling a little wider these days. He has not only been accepted to Ivy League school Harvard University, but is the first non-magnet student in Dallas ISD to do so during early action decisions.

Harvard is his third choice, for the soon-to-be first generation college student. He’s still awaiting acceptance from other top schools like Dartmouth College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Princeton University.
