    Upperclassman shares outlook on college prep ideas

    _biggerCollege Prep ThumbnailThousands of juniors and seniors scouted some of the nation’s top colleges, universities and career fields at the Districtwide College Fair on Sept. 17.

    Some students, such as Kendell Long, a senior at Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, are playing the waiting game after submitting applications before the start of the school year. George Washington University, Syracuse University and Texas Christian University are some of the schools he is eyeing.

    The College and Career Readiness department offers helpful tips to students who are gearing up for the admissions process. Take a look at some of those tips during a Fox 4 interview with Keisha Crowder-Davis, director of post-secondary success, and Long. Both provide insight on how those guidelines helped Long during his selection process.
