October marks the start of Dallas ISD Campus Support Month, giving families, alumni, businesses, and community members a chance to make meaningful and direct impact in the district.  The initiative encourages support for programs and services that help schools thrive. Contributions can be directed to a specific school or to the Dallas Education Foundation Campus Support Fund, which allocates discretionary funding to high-need campuses across the district. Election Day is almost here, and it is a good time to make sure all eligible voters are prepared to make their mark.  The deadline to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 7. For quick and easy registration, click here. Early voting will run from Monday, Oct. 21 to Friday, Nov. 1. Registered and eligible voters may cast their ballot at any early voting location in their county of registration. Submitted by Marc Drumwright, Food and Child Nutrition Services Dallas ISD’s Food and Child Nutrition Services is proud to announce the  continuation of the At-Risk Afterschool Meals for the 2024-2025 school year. This initiative is under the Child and Adult Food Care Program, which provides reimbursements for meals and snacks served to students, ages 18 and under, participating in after-school programs. This means Dallas ISD students who participate in afterschool programs can receive a free snack or supper.
