The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees gave the administration the green light to hire a search firm to help find top candidates for the district’s hard-to-staff positions. The board approved the proposal in a 6-3 vote during its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on August 28. Under the proposal, the district can allocate up to $300,000 during the next three years for these services. Additionally, the board voted to accept a grant increase (up to $50,000) for the Gates Next Gen Systems Initiative, Phase II.
