Each November, Dallas ISD employees join with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas to positively impact families across the area by participating in an employee giving campaign. Through payroll deductions or one-time donations, employees help support programs that make a difference in the lives of parents and children by providing much-needed assistance that can be life-changing. WFAA-TV Channel 8 spent a few moments with members of the Sunset High School Bisonettes drill team, as they turn to the community to help raise funds for an upcoming performance in Hawaii. The 27 member squad has been invited to perform during the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade, Dec. 7. See view that broadcast, click here. The Bisonette’s have set up a GoFundMe account that any one may donate toward. The team needs to raise $50,000 in order to perform and represent the only school from Texas in the parade.
