March is Social Work Appreciation Month, and it’s a time to thank the outstanding social workers in Dallas ISD who help families every day. Dallas ISD Mental Health Services has over 25 social workers who serve as licensed mental health clinicians, and the Dallas ISD Special Education Department has five social workers who assist families. Dallas County Elections Administrator Michael Scarpello reminds eligible voters that the registration deadline for the Saturday, May 1, 2021 Joint Election is Thursday, April 1, 2021. In order to accept any last minute registrations, the Elections Department will extend its normal hours to 7:00 am to 7:00 pm the week of March 29, 2021. In addition, on Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28, the Elections Department will join forces with the Dallas Mavericks, Univision, and the Dallas Morning News to run a drive through a voter registration site where people can register to vote without having to get out…
