Staff at Edna Rowe Elementary is proactively exploring ways to create a robust Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program at the Dallas ISD school. Staff members this week took guided tours of Parish Episcopal School to see how the school offers STEM programming. On Wednesday, March 2, schools across Dallas ISD celebrated the late, great children’s author and illustrator Theodor Seuss Geisel – best known as Dr. Seuss. At Reinhardt Elementary School, students and JROTC cadets from Bryan Adams High School read to classes and also dressed as Seuss characters The Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. Other visitors included guest readers from Dallas Fire-Rescue and Target.
