Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts’ Mock Trial team is continuing to make waves on the national scene. Eryn Anum (Theatre, 2025), Audrey Buehler (Theatre, 2025), Molly Chakery (Theatre, 2024), Isabel Gameros (Theater, 2024), Maxine Louthan (Theatre 2025), Erin Mansour (Theatre 2025), Ellie Oddo (Visual, 2026), and Abigail Smith, (Theatre 2027), recently placed second out of 48 schools in the 2024 National High School Mock Trial Competition in Pennsylvania. With the school year nearly complete, Dallas ISD seniors are continuing to unlock opportunities for their future. Total, 106 students were selected for the Juanita Craft Scholarship, which awards $6,000 to those who attend schools in the fair park area. These schools include Franklin D. Submitted by Dallas ISD Athletics department Nominations are now being accepted for the next class of the Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame. Since its creation in 2017, the Hall of Fame has welcomed 51 individuals into its membership. The Hall of Fame recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the district’s storied high school athletic programs. Individuals may be nominated in one of three categories: past Dallas ISD student-athlete, former Dallas ISD coach, and contributors.
