Dallas ISD teachers looking to beat the heat can enjoy a buy one, get one free ticket deal to a Hawaiian Falls water park later this week. Hawaiian Falls is honoring teachers, members of the military, first responders and other influential leaders as part of Heroes Week Wednesday, which is happening August 3–7 at all six of its water parks. Families in the Highland Hills area who are planning to attend the Mayor’s Back to School Fair on Friday, Aug. 5, have the option for free transportation from the Highland Hills Library courtesy of DART. DART will offer free transportation from the Highland Hills Library to the event at Fair Park.
