The T.C. Marsh Leadership Cadet Corps earned three championship titles at the 2017 Drill Battle of DFW competition last month in DeSoto. The Marsh cadets competed with schools from Red Oak, DeSoto, Glen Heights, Fort Worth and the Dallas area. They were evaluated on precision, overall appearance, command voice and military bearing. On Friday, May 5, employees from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Sprouts helped plant a new school garden at Dallas ISD’s Stevens Park Elementary School. The project was coordinated by nonprofit REAL School Gardens. Students and school staff also got in on the “Big Dig” action. See additional photos on the REAL School Gardens Facebook page here.
