Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) engaged in fierce legal battles against schools from across Texas. All three schools advanced to the second day of competition. Representatives from Reliant Energy presented Dallas ISD’s Energy and Sustainability department with a $64,000 check to support the district’s ongoing efforts of energy efficiency.
