Since December, the state’s front-line workers—including Dallas ISD nurses—have been receiving the COVID-19 vaccine in the first phase of immunizations (Phase 1A), according to state and county eligibility guidelines. To safeguard district staff, Dallas ISD is working with Dallas County Health and Human Services and Parkland Hospital to secure vaccines for staff who are eligible for vaccination in Phase 1B to include individuals who are 65+ and those affected by serious chronic medical conditions. The RoboTAG team from the School for the Talented and Gifted won first place in the State Farm Exhibit and Interview Award in the 2020 Texas BEST and UIL Robotics State Championships!
