On their first day of the school year on Aug. 16, North Lake Early College High School welcomed students to its permanent home at the Dallas College North Lake campus. The 2021-2022 school year has arrived and Dallas ISD Student Transportation Services will continue to provide exceptional service to the more than 50,000 students who ride school buses every day. We’re working to make sure their experience is safe and orderly.  Face masks are required for all students and staff in all district facilities, including buses. To help ensure the next generation of students have what they need for an enjoyable and productive school year, the Dallas Police Department, in partnership with Safer Dallas Better Dallas, gave out approximately 400 bags of schools supplies to students at John Neely Bryan Elementary on Aug. 9. By attending school each day, students receive the benefit of teacher-led instruction, peer discussion, building each day’s learning on the previous day’s instruction, participation in a variety of school activities and the opportunity to grow as individuals.
