Candidates for Board of Trustees must file by Feb. 16
The Hub
Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 to submit their filing packets to secure a place on the ballot. The first day to file is Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Three seats are up for election:
- District 9, South Dallas and parts of Downtown Dallas, Pleasant Grove, Deep Ellum, Uptown, and East Dallas, currently represented by Justin Henry
- District 3, Northeast Dallas, currently represented by Dan Micciche
- District 1, Northwest Dallas, including North Dallas, Addison, parts of Carrollton and Farmers Branch, currently represented by Edwin Flores
Candidates may file an application in-person at the Office of Board Services, located at 5151 Samuell Blvd, Room 245. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
