The Cat in the Hat broke loose across Dallas ISD schools to celebrate the legacy of late children's author Dr. Seuss.
To honor what would have been the iconic author's 114th birthday, volunteers visited campuses to read to students and help with Seuss-themed activities.
Over at Jill Stone Elementary School, KPMG, Central Market and Texas Instruments enchanted students with stories and poems from Dr. Seuss. As a bonus, KPMG donated books to all students at Stone and Elisha M. Pease Elementary School.
Meanwhile, United Way volunteers read and gave out books at numerous other schools, and NFL player Brandon Carr brought the Seuss spirit to Thomas Tolbert Elementary School.
