Introducing the 2021-2022 Principal of the Year finalists and nominees!
The Hub
This March, the Principal of the Year Committee selected six finalists to compete for the honor of being recognized as Dallas ISD Principal of the Year. Two finalists were selected in each of three categories: Elementary, Secondary, and Choice/Magnet Schools. These finalists were among the top contenders selected from Network Cluster Principals of the Year, chosen by their peers in January 2022 and invited to apply for the district award. These campus leaders represent all areas of the district and have shown exemplary support of our staff, students, and community.
From the finalists, one principal will be selected from each category to represent Dallas ISD as Principal of the Year. Winners will be announced at the inaugural 2021-2022 Dallas ISD Educator of the Year Awards, in partnership with the Dallas Education Foundation, presented by Reliant at the Statler Hotel on May 10, 2022.
