Five Dallas ISD teachers in running for Dallas Mavericks Classroom Champions program
The Hub
Dallas ISD has five teachers competing in the Dallas Mavericks Classroom Champions program.
The top five vote getters in the competition will receive $1,000 for themselves and $1,000 for their school.
The Dallas ISD teachers are:
Arleen Averill - Cigarroa Elementary
Claire Price - Stevens Park Elementary
Ruth Ortiz - Stevens Park Elementary
Shynise Stiff - L.V. Stockard Middle School
Yuridiana Lewis - Cary Middle School
Voting ends on April 30 at 11:59 pm. The winning teachers will be announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, which is May 1–5.
