This week, approximately 1,400 Dallas ISD teachers will be invited to submit an application and undergo the Distinguished Teacher Review process. In order to be eligible, teachers must meet certain requirements and undergo a review of their leadership, lifelong learning, contributions to the profession and quality of instruction.
Applications are due Jan. 22, 2015. Between January and May, applications will be reviewed and two- to three-person teams will conduct a 45-minute observation to assess the candidate’s quality of instruction.
