Dallas ISD launches reentry and safety plan for fall

The Dallas Independent School District is looking forward to the 2020-21 school year, and we are committed to doing everything possible to safely reopen our campuses. In these uncertain times, the district recognizes the need to revisit how we conduct business in and out of school. For this reason, Dallas ISDdeveloped the Dallas ISD Education Evolution website as a pathway to rapidly respond to circumstances and conditions.

This webpage lays out the district’s plans to reopen and operate schools to ensure the safety of students and campus staff. It will also list plans for campus reentry as well as the best practices for social distancing, temperature checks, thorough hygiene practices, the use of masks and face shields, in addition to other topics.

Parents and teachers will be able to access frequently asked questions and useful resources.
