All district employees are now eligible to register for the Covid-19 vaccine

In partnership with Walmart, Dallas ISD has secured more than 1,000 shots exclusively for Dallas ISD staff to receive a vaccine on Saturday, March 20, or Sunday, March 21, in one of the stores listed below. Dallas ISD staff can begin booking appointments for the special Walmart vaccination event on Tuesday, March 16, by calling 833-886-0023.

Vaccine Availability

This week could be the ideal time to get your vaccine. Dallas County has opened vaccination registration to all Dallas ISD employees and is offering appointments as vaccines are available. Types and safety of vaccines

Three vaccines have received emergency approval from the FDA for distribution in the United States: Pfeizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson amp; Johnson/Janssen. All three COVID-19 vaccines have been declared safe and effective by health experts and millions of people have already received COVID-19 vaccines under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history.
