Dallas ISD’s curbside meal service to end on July 21

Dallas Independent School District will discontinue offering free curbside meals to children. The last day for curbside meals at participating school sites is Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Dallas ISD’s Food and Child Nutrition Services is proud to continue to provide no-cost meals to Dallas ISD students via the traditional meal service during the 2021-2022 school year.

As of now, traditional meal service will begin at each campus based on their return to school schedule. Visit www.dallasisd.org/schoolcalendars to see which calendar your school has.

Return to school schedule:

  • Monday, Aug. 2, 2021: Schools with a School Day Redesign calendar start
  • Monday, Aug. 9, 2021: Schools with an Intersession calendar start
  • Monday, Aug. 16, 2021: Schools with a base calendar start

If families need assistance in between the end of curbside meals and the start of their school’s traditional meal service, parents and guardians can call 211 or text FOODTX to 877-877 to find organizations providing meals/food to the community.
