Dallas ISD selects three top educators as 2020-2021 Teachers of the Year

Dallas ISD is home to some of the finest educators in the city, who have acted as frontline heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic. This week the district recognized three of them as the 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year for each learning level, celebrating their passion for teaching and their commitment to making a difference in the lives of their students.

This year’s winners are:
Primary school category: Jose Armendariz, John J. Pershing Elementary.

Secondary school category: Seneca Denman, Boude Storey Middle School.

Choice/Magnet school category: Yonathan Tadesse, Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet.

With the generous support of Central Market, the district celebrates teaching excellence by recognizing these outstanding educators.
