The Texas Education Agency, in collaboration with other Texas departments, sent six trailers of supplies–such as thermometers, masks, face shields, and plexiglass–for Dallas ISD schools to use for a possible reopening.

Warehouse and maintenance personnel unloaded more than 120 pallets at the William H. Cotton Service Center on Friday. June 19.

The supplies included 228,000 gallons of hand sanitizer, 966,000 disposable surgical masks, 531,000 (non-medical) fabric masks, 1,152 electronic thermometers and almost 19,000 face-shields.

Dallas ISD has developed a handbook of campus-reentry safety protocols that may be implemented at every campus during the 2020-2021 school year.
