Fourteen outstanding young Dallas ISD authors attend world mystery convention

It’s no mystery that Dallas ISD has outstanding young authors.

Fourteen students attended an Oct. 31 luncheon at the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention after being named finalists by the Reading Language Arts Department in a mystery-writing competition. World-renowned mystery writer James Patterson served as the keynote speaker, and Dallas ISD students will see their work published in Bouchercon’s Teen Anthology.
