High school juniors and seniors with the dream of attending college–but are unsure how to make that dream come true–are in luck.
Hundreds of representatives from colleges near and far are coming to Dallas on Wednesday, Sept. 18, to help make dreams of attending college come true. The free annual Districtwide College Fair is set for 5:30–8:30 p.m. at Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 Polk St.
Whether a student wants to stay close to home or venture across the country, this is their chance to meet dozens of college representatives face-to-face to get information about options after high school graduation. And, of course, they will want to learn about how to cover the costs for college. There, too, the fair has them covered: there will be plenty of information about financial aid.
Instead of college, perhaps a student is interested in joining the military or pursuing a skilled trade or other career. The fair will also feature representatives to talk with students about deciding on a career, attending a trade school, and requirements to join the military.
In short, there is no better place to start or complete college research than the Dallas ISD Districtwide College Fair. Students should see their high school counselor to sign up for free admission and transportation as well as free college entrance immunizations.
It’s important to note that parents are welcome to attend the event and encouraged to bring their own questions about financial aid, campus safety and student access to campus medical care.
The Dallas ISD Districtwide College Fair is listed under the second TACRAO option.
Will be provided for Dallas ISD high school students.
