When school starts on Aug. 20, the new Anne Frank Early Childhood Center will welcome in some of the district’s youngest students.

The early childhood center, which is a separate building but part of Anne Frank Elementary School, will have one classroom for 3-year-old pre-K and six classrooms for 4-year-old pre-K.

“The Anne Frank Early Childhood Center will be a valuable resource in developing our youngest students’ social and emotional learning abilities, fine motor skills, and basics of learning,” Anne Frank Principal Beverly Mullins Ford said. “These students will be set up for future success.”

The 2015 bridge project funded the early childhood center.
