Four Dallas ISD students will attend the prestigious West Point Middle School STEM workshop in New York City later this month.

The Center for Leadership and Diversity in STEM is hosting the workshop that is open to sixth- and seventh-graders who have demonstrated strong academic performance and an interest in pursuing college. The four Dallas ISD students were chosen out of hundreds of applicants.

Three of the students attend Robert T. Hill Middle School, and the fourth student attends the W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy.

“I really want to further my understanding about STEM and learn more about different career options in STEM,” said Maya, one of the four Dallas ISD students who will attend the workshop.

The four-day workshop is May 30–June 3. Go here to learn more about the workshop.
