Rotary Club of Dallas invites teacher nominations for Service Above Self Awards

0

The Rotary Club of Dallas is accepting teacher applications for its annual Service Above Self Awards through April 17th.

The awards recognize teachers who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others through demonstrated Service Above Self and who go above and beyond the call of duty. Teachers may self-nominate, and community members may nominate deserving teachers.

Winning recipients each receive a cash award of $2,500 or more, a customized engraved plaque, and an American flag which has been flown over the US Capitol in Washington, D.C. in their name. The teacher awards are funded by an anonymous endowment established with the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation. The proceeds from the investment of the endowment are used to fund the annual awards.
