Piedmont goes GLOBAL

Students and community members gathered to celebrate the newly named Piedmont GLOBAL Academy. Formerly known as John B. Hood Middle School, students led the effort to change the name to reflect the school’s global academic focus and positive atmosphere. (Watch this)

Student-athletes watch inspirational documentary

The African American Success Initiative partnered with Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Turn Around Agenda to send 100 student-athletes to Eastfield College to view an inspiring documentary. (Watch this)

A Blue celebration

The Dealey Montessori Vanguard and the Dealey International Academy celebrated their National Blue Ribbon status with a festive outdoor pep rally. (Learn more)

Pep rally at Dade

Representative Eric Johnson hosted a pep rally at Dade Middle School. The pep rally capped off the school’s homecoming week and focused on another big football game: Texas versus OU. (Watch this)
