11 Dallas ISD students receive $10,000 in scholarships from nation’s largest African-American sorority

Eleven graduating seniors received a total of $10,000 in scholarships from the Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Through a lengthly application process, recipients were awarded based on academic merit and need.

During the celebration honoring the graduates across Dallas County, students received scholarship monies to go to the college of their choice. The top recipients were awarded $1,500.
