Eighth-graders prep for next step at district endorsement fair

Eighth-graders are often excited to embark on the journey that is high school but focus on sports, clubs and navigating the social scene. Dallas ISD is giving them an opportunity to plan their learning paths at the district’s Exploring High School Fair, Dec. 3-9 at Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 S. Polk St. While in attendance, students will learn about the five high school diploma endorsements established by House Bill 5, which requires students to choose focused disciplines that will prepare them for higher education or a career.

The goal is to help students create and follow a plan that connects their high school education experience to their future career and college goals.
