United Way volunteers spread the gift of science

More than 80 United Way volunteers from TXU, Energy Future Holdings and Luminant performed 15 different science experiments on Sept. 3 with 4th and 5th grade children at Julian T. Saldivar Elementary.

More than 322 students were positively impacted by the visit. In addition, two soccer goal nets were donated to spruce up Saldivar Soccer Stadium.
